Building Zion is an organization founded to reach the unreached and bring hope to the persecuted through construction projects. Our grandest goal is that the Gospel would permeate every nation, tribe, and tongue across the globe.

NIGERIA

The most dangerous and persecuted country in the world for Christians. More Christians are killed here annually than every country in the world combined. Nigeria is also home to the largest unreached people group in Africa, the Hausa's. Both incredibly unreached and full of persecution against Christians, Nigeria is a country in desperate need of both the Gospel and tangible support for the forsaken.

BURUNDI

The 2nd poorest country in the world, Burundi is full of affliction and people in beyond desperate need. They have been stricken by civil war, battle hunger, limited access to clean water; this country is in dyer need of both tangible assistance, as well as the Gospel being proclaimed. This home was built 2 hours deep into the northwestern Burundi mountains for a widow and her family who lost their home to major floods. 

DRC

A country marked by extreme violence against Christians. Though the DRC is a Christian majority country, it has been ravaged by Islamic terrorist groups and other rebel militias. Christians villages and churches are burned to the ground. Children beheaded. Millions have been displaced from their homes. Our brothers and sisters are crying out for our help. 

SUDAN

With 50 million people considered to be unreached, Sudan is in desperate need of senders and goers. A country torn by civil war, famine, immense humanitarian crisis; the need cannot be stressed enough. The small amount of Christians that exist here have often been persecuted. Sudan needs Christ. 

KENYA

Like most countries in Africa, Kenya is full of extreme poverty and major need for the Gospel. Though some areas have been reached and there are Christians, millions of people remain in remote and islamic areas of Kenya where the Gospel is quite literally non-existent. Building Zion partners with local pastors to plant and build churches in unreached and afflicted regions. 

GUATEMALA

This is a cinderblock home built on the side a mountain in Guatemala. Depending on material availability, costs, and community location, there are various styles and sizes of homes that are constructed. Religion dominates this land, not the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In Guatemala, homes built are generally between 35-45 square meters and cost $5,500-$,6000.

NICARAGUA

The 2nd poorest country in the Western Hemisphere is Nicaragua. Here, a large majority of families live in extreme poverty with homes made of scraps of plastic, metal, and wood. More times than not, rains cause flooding within the make shift homes. Here, we build cinderblock homes which impact families for generations. 

VISION

The vision of Building Zion is that the basic necessities of millions of people around the world would be met. These needs consist of shelter, churches, schools, and clean water. We believe that through meetings these needs,  countless souls will be ushered to Christ. We believe the tangible blessing of homes, churches, schools, and water wells, and even greater blessing of the Gospel, will impact families for generations to come and all of eternity. The imminent vision is that heaven would be crowded.
