WHO WE ARE

 "I am laying in Zion a choice stone, a precious cornerstone" 

Building Zion is an organization founded to reach the unreached and bring hope to the persecuted through construction projects. Our grandest goal is that the Gospel would permeate nation, tribe, and tongue across the globe. Millions of individuals are waiting for faithful followers of Christ to go and tell them of their only hope and salvation in Christ. Our brothers and sisters in Christ are being slaughtered daily for their proclamation of Christ, being forsaken by the world. It is Building Zions' goal to penetrate communities throughout the globe, seeking to use construction to meet their basic necessities, proclaim the Gospel to regions where it does not exist, and to bring hope to those who are suffering under persecution . The 4 primary basic necessities Building Zion seeks to meet are churches, clean water, schools, and homes. We want the love of God to be shown and expressed through the service and generosity of his people. We want families to be impacted and changed for generations to come. It is the ultimate aim of Building Zion to make heaven crowded and develop hearts for Christ.

At Building Zion, we have allowed the holy Word of God to craft and shape our mission. In Matthew 28 we are called to "make disciples of all the nations"; in James 1 we see that pure and undefiled religion is "to visit orphans and widows in their affliction"; and in Proverbs 19 we see that "Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord". The generosity of the Lord's people is used to construct homes, churches, schools, and water wells for people and communities that are in extreme need. This primary mission of meeting a tangible need paves the way to sharing the Gospel and evangelizing in nations across the world. Love is shown. Disciples are made. The needy are tended to. Out of a reverent heart for God, Building Zion seeks to follow the steps of Christ by obedience to his Word.
